Bunny Yokai
By moonrise, the little bunny yokai slips from the folds of the spirit world, all velvet ears, mischievous eyes, and far too many secrets tucked beneath her sleeves. She is said to follow lantern-light and the scent of sweet rice cakes, leaving tiny foxfire footprints wherever she wanders. Though technically a demon, she is more likely to steal your hair ribbon, rearrange your tea cups, or whisper riddles into sleeping koi than curse anyone. But if you hear a soft giggle beneath the shrine bells after midnight, leave a strawberry by the gate. She may grant you a wish... or turn your socks into frogs.
